Whether you are facing problems such as uneven texture, enlarge pores, hyperpigmentation caused from acne, sun damage, or hormone imbalance, or just want a refreshed look, the VI Peel is the perfect procedure for you.
The VI peel is composed of five rejuvenating acids: TCA, Retin-A, Salicylic Acid, Phenol, and Vitamin C. This unique treatment is designed to reverse the early signs of aging and sun damage with little downtime. In about a week, patients will see an improvement in the skin’s tone and texture. Large pores are eliminated and areas of hyperpigmentation can be significantly decreased with the VI Peel.
Once the VI Peel has been applied by the nurse, patients are free to return home. The peel will need to remain on the skin for at least four hours, at which time it can be washed off. Additional aftercare products, designed to enhance the peeling process, will be given to the patient. The nurse will carefully review all of the at-home instructions before a VI Peel patient leaves the office.

The VI Peel will gently remove the top layers of unhealthy, dead skin. This allows newer, healthier skin to show, leaving a brighter, firmer, younger looking appearance. The VI Peel will also encourage the body’s natural Collagen production, further smoothing and plumping the skin.
The ideal candidate for a VI Peel will be a patient looking to improve their appearance and reverse the early signs of aging, but is unwilling to commit to the long recovery period associated with traditional deep Chemical Peels. The VI Peel is safe for all skin tones and ethnicities.
A VI Peel is safe for the face, neck, hands, and body.
Initially, after patients wash the VI Peel from their face, the skin will appear red and mildly swollen. This is normal and will resolve over the first 24 hours. It is imperative that the VI Peel should remain on the face for a minimum of four hours. Vigorous exercise or strenuous activities should be avoided for the first 24-48 hours, as the resulting sweat could potentially alter the VI Peel’s results.
Two to three days after the VI Peel application, the skin will begin to peel. This process can last between three and seven days, depending on the patient’s skin type and condition. Moisturizer can be used during this time to help mask the noticeable appearance of peeling. While the skin is healing, it may be extra sensitive, so patients should continuously wear sunscreen with an SPF 30 or higher during the peeling process. Once the skin is fully healed, in about 14 days, patients will notice a smoother, healthier complexion.
